Therapy for Black Girls

Sep 13, 2017

The Therapy for Black GirlsTM Podcast is a weekly conversation with Dr. Joy Harden Bradford, a licensed Psychologist in Atlanta, Georgia, about all things mental health, personal development, and all the small decisions we can make to become the best possible versions of ourselves.

In this week's episode I share my thoughts about the Season 2 Finale of HBO's Insecure. I discuss four different areas covered in the finale that might lead us to reflect and think about our own lives including. I discussed what it meant for Molly to return to therapy, how Molly & Issa's friendship may offer strategies for our own, the lies we tell ourselves about closure, and how that flash forward sequence was a breathing representation of what I discussed in Session 16 of the podcast.
