The Therapy for Black Girls Podcast is a weekly conversation with Dr. Joy Harden Bradford, a Licensed Psychologist in Atlanta, Georgia, about all things mental health, personal development, and all the small decisions we can make to become the best possible version of ourselves.
Today we have an On the Couch episode featuring Tasha & James (Ghost) St. Patrick of the hit show on STARZ, Power. For this episode I was joined by Dr. QuaVandra Perry who is a Licensed Psychologist in Texas. Dr. Perry and I discussed what kinds of concerns might bring Tasha and James to therapy, how she might help them improve their communication, how she might help them work through their grief, and of course she shared all of her favorite resources for couples. This episode does contain spoilers so if you’re not caught up with the new season then you may want to hold off on listening.
